Flash:  First Time Buyers

According to the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and Trend MLS,
first-time buyers account for more than 54% of ALL Buyers… this represents a sharp increase from previous years when the average was near 40% … possibly due to the $8,000 first-time buyer tax credit and historically low rates.

Reviewing the first quarter of 2009 and March statistics…Chester County Rocks!  The number of Pending Sales — up 25% for all of Chester County in just one month! The Average Pending price was up. I believe the influx of first-time Buyers is driving the move-up Buyer market. This is GREAT news!
