Monday, November 9th, 2009There was a drop in SOLD & Settled number of homes across Chester County. For the first time in months we saw Pending Sales List Prices increase. Move-up Buyer’s market finally seeing the result of the $8,000 tax credit. Coming later this month - a synopsis of new buyer incentives for first-time buyers AND move-up buyers.

We have returned to 2005 pricing. SOLD & Settled YTD down 8% over 2008. Inventory accumulation 2009 YTD - 11 Months - indicating a continued Buyers’ Market. While SOLDS have declined steadily over the last 5+ years, so have listings. Since 2006, the percentage of listings sold has ONLY dropped 8%.
